I was born Brazil, but grew up in Canada.
From a very young age I collected movie posters, Jurassic Park toys and was obsessed with the opening credits of TV shows. I guess you could say pop culture raised me.
Unsurprisingly, I did not follow my dreams after high school and got a fairly boring degree in Business instead. But once I realized my true calling was somewhere between art and commerce, I pursued Art Direction and Design.
My favorite type of work combines conceptual thinking with a high level of craft and design. My approach is pretty simple: I love to create what I’m dying to see.
For example, in 2018, while I watched the 30000th season of Survivor, I came up with an idea for a convention for Reality television. I named it Reality TV Con. And when some important people at MTV saw my proposal, they loved it so much they acquired the entire idea from me. (MTV then hired me back to continue developing the idea further with them). A very Shark Tank moment.
